Solution:

1) Click the 'Start' button to display the 'Start' menu.
2) Select 'Programs' and select 'Microsoft Exchange'. (The 'Microsoft Exchange' program is launched.)
Select 'Microsoft Exchange'
NOTE: If the 'Microsoft Fax' program is not present in the 'Programs' submenu, use 'Add/Remove Programs' in 'Control Panel' to add this program from the original Windows 95 installation diskettes or CD-ROM.
3) Select the 'Tools' menu and select 'Services...'. (The 'Services' dialog box appears.)
4) Click 'Add...'. (The 'Add Service to Profile' dialog box appears.)
5) Select 'Microsoft Fax' and click 'OK'. (The 'Microsoft Fax' dialog box appears.)
6) Click 'Yes'. (The 'Microsoft Fax Properties' dialog box appears.)
7) Type your name in the 'Your full name' box.
8) In the 'Your return fax number' group, type your return fax number and area code in the 'Fax number' boxes.
9) (Optional) Set the identity information:

a) Type your company name in the 'Company' box.
b) Type your company title in the 'Title' box.
c) Type your company address in the 'Address' box.
d) Type your department in the 'Department' box.
e) Type your office location in the 'Office Location' box.
f) Type your home telephone number in the 'Home Telephone Number' box.
g) Type your office telephone number in the 'Office Telephone Number' box.

10) Click 'OK'. (The 'Microsoft Fax' dialog box appears.)
11) Click 'Yes'. (The 'Microsoft Fax Properties' dialog box appears.)
12) Do one of the following:

a) If your modem is listed, click 'OK'.
b) If your modem is not listed, click 'Add...' and do one of the following:

1] Select 'Fax modem' and select 'OK'. (The 'Install New Modem' dialog box appears.)
2] Click 'Next'. (Windows 95 checks and detects the installed modem.)
3] Click 'Next' and click 'Finish'.
4] Select the installed fax modem from the 'Available fax modems' list box and click 'Set as Active Fax Modem'.

13) Click 'OK' and click 'OK' again.
14) Select the 'File' menu and select 'Close' to close the 'Control Panel' window.
